Jessie Louise Best was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She began her writing career as a hobby. It soon became more than that when she realized it was also fun. Her main career over the years has been in the healthcare field as a registered nurse. Commuting to work every day provided the opportunity to give her imagination a workout. Translating the images that come to mind during the daily journey, into words, has become a rich source for storytelling.
